History
How we started
Mrs. Maria Fatol founded Margo for Medical Equipment in 2006, beginning her journey of importing and distributing high-quality skincare products, such as Gerovital, to the Jordanian market from her home country of Romania. In 2008, she added the Italian brand Coverderm to her portfolio in order to reach a wider audience.
In 2008, her son, Al-Hussein Abdullah, joined the company and after five years, he started his own journey by founding Papaya Trading LLC and adding more brands to the portfolio.
He collaborated with other entrepreneurs such as Mohammad Sawalha and Mahmoud Abo Al-Adas, as well as his brother, Mr. Fadi Abdullah. Together, they formed Al-Mussafah Trading LLC in 2017 and Lava Trading LLC in 2018, with Al-Hussein assuming the role of CEO in both companies.
In 2020, Al-Hussein changed Margo for Medical Equipment from an EST. to an LLC, and became the CEO of Margo for Medical Equipment when Mrs. Maria retired in 2021. He then had the idea to merge all the companies under the Margo Group.
